A follow-up to Beaded Bezel, part 1, this 2-hour class will teach you how to turn your finished Cabochon Pendant into a work of art with awesome bail, edge and bezel embellishments. It will also include training in design, including color matching, bead sizes and choice of appropriate fringe techniques. Bring your Beaded Bezel to class and tell us your color scheme when you register. Kit includes beading needle and thread, choice of seed bead colors. Capture a Gemstone Cabochon -- with a seed bead peyote bezel to create a stunning pendant. This technique includes a beaded bail and a cord for your Beaded Pendant. Knowledge of peyote stitch is useful but not required. Students learn the complete technique in class, but most students will not complete the project during class. Beaded Ring
Create a blooming beaded ring in this 2 part class. In the first session you will learn to capture the flower center and make the ring band using peyote stitch. In the second session you will learn to embellish your ring. A fancy millefiori bead is set using circular peyote stitch then attached to a flat peyote band. You will learn a variety of techniques and use an assortment of embellishments.

Fibula Pin New!
Showcase beautiful beads with a fibula. Fibula comes from Latin and translates to clasp or brooch. Learn the basics of creating a wired pin using different designs and techniques to coordinate with your beads. All tools provided for student use. Kit includes: Comprehensive instructions and illustrations, copper wire for practice and enough materials to make 2 pins. Kits can be purchased with coordinating beads or without beads so students can make or bring their own favorites. Students are encouraged to bring an assortment of lamp work glass beads and coordinating beads/spacers made from glass, stone, copper, ceramic, clay, etc. These all must have holes to accommodate 16 gauge wire.
