Bronze and Copper Beginner Series
This series introduces students to bronze and copper clays for creating pendants, earrings and a variety of decorative yet functional bails. Combining the clays and using them separately will be demonstrated and discussed. Learn how an extruder can be used to create textures and other effects. Also included are beautiful in- lay techniques and how to use texture for design. Firing, finishing and patina techniques are learned and used to complete projects. Several pieces will be fired and finished in class. Students may have other pieces that will be fired after end of class and will be responsible for finishing those pieces at home or during open studio. Tools and textures provided. Bronze and Copper Inlay
Explore beautiful inlay effects with techniques developed by Hadar Jacobson. Using clays developed by Hadar such as Quick Fire copper and bronze clay, create a unique piece using both clays - one as the "positive " and the other as the "negative " color. Pieces will be fired after class. Students are responsible for finishing and patina at home or in open studio. Supply list sent upon registration. *** Plus cost of clay.

Bronze and Copper Mokume Gane Techniques
MokumeGane is the effect created by mixing metals to create patterns and contrast., Using a chemical patina in a controlled oxidation or corrosion process, colors and contrast can be altered in strikingly beautiful ways. This workshop uses Hadar Jacobson's Quick Fire bronze and copper clays to create a pair of earrings or pendants which will be fired and available for pick up the following week. Bring your own clay or purchase from the studio. Use of Hadars clay is recommended. Students will finish and patina at home or in open studio. Supply list sent upon registration.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of bronze and copper clay or permission of the instructor.

Intermediate Metal Clay
In this series of 3 classes, many techniques and projects will be covered including making molds and texture plates, earrings with custom ear wires, rings, and how to incorporate dichroic glass and 24 carat gold into precious metal clay. PMC Charm Bracelet
This is a 2 session workshop. In session one, create your own unique charms using Precious Metal Clay (PMC). Charms may be customized and engraved with special dates, names, your logo and initials, symbols. Second session, learn to apply a finish and polish your charms. If you want to make your own bracelet chain to add your charms to, we will teach you to hancraft a chain maille bracelet. Supply list sent upon registration. *** Plus cost of PMC
