Fibula Pin Showcase beautiful beads with a fibula. Fibula comes from Latin and translates to clasp or brooch. Learn the basics of creating a wired pin using different designs and techniques to coordinate with your beads. All tools provided for student use. Kit includes: Comprehensive instructions and illustrations, copper wire for practice and enough materials to make 2 pins. Kits can be purchased with coordinating beads or without beads so students can make or bring their own favorites. Students are encouraged to bring an assortment of lamp work glass beads and coordinating beads/spacers made from glass, stone, copper, ceramic, clay, etc. These all must have holes to accommodate 16 gauge wire. Each pin will be 2 to 2.5 inches in total length, so bring enough. Additional beads available for purchase. Bring reader glasses if needed. Kit Price: Without beads 10; With beads 15.
