Cold Connections- Riveting Basics:
In this metalsmith mini workshop you will learn how to create metal connections without using a torch. You will learn how to make five kinds of rivets: standard rivet, tube rivet, spaced rivet, flush rivet, and swing rivet. (If you already have a riveting hammer, bring it with you to class, if you don't, one will be provided during class.)

Soldering Boot Camp (with Alexis, this is a new class)
Learn how to solder! You'll learn a variety of soldering techniques to make secure connections in your work, feel confident using a torch, and feel like a true metalsmith. You'll use the techniques of chip soldering, sweat soldering, pick soldering to create a variety of solder joints that will allow you to make just about anything!

class cost: $99 includes supplies (llimit of 4 students)

Flex Shaft mini workshop
Unlock the hidden potential in the flex shaft!  The flexible shaft machine is a versatile tool that is a trusted friend to most jewelers. Learn to use the flex shaft to create a variety of textures, drill, cut, and polish. You'll learn about different types and shapes of steel burs, drill bits, silicon tips, diamond burs, buffs, and more!
