Liaung-Chung
Yen was born in 1972 in Taiwan and influenced by his
Chinese traditional culture, art and philosophy. he is always
interested in
making objects since he was a child. after his study in the united
states,
experiencing the culture difference, he tries to blend the western and
eastern
culture into his work. his formal arts training including national
Taiwan
academy of arts, Savannah college of art and design, the three main
focuses
of his art education have been industrial design, woodcarving, and
metal smithing.
He brings these three disciplines into his current metal work.
