Intermediate Flamework A three part workshop for more exploration of the art and science of hot glass. Students learn the basics of forming beads on a mandrel, then move on to surface decoration, pulling stringers, silvered ivory, texture and more. Work with both soft and borosilicate glass to make well constructed beads using the heat of the flame and gravity. At the end of each session, students will have madelots of unique beads suitable for jewelry. Studio 34 staff Glass beads, marbles and sculptures are annealed in a kiln for long life.
